I am playing around again with colors and masks. I discovered a neat feature on Picnik.com and wow, what a difference that made with these photos. I’m thinking Christmas cards? I know mom will want the peacocks as 5×7 or 8x10s for her living room: peacock-themed and colors.
This sweet dog has taken the best care of me the last 24 hours. I got a flu shot yesterday afternoon and within minutes I came down with side effects, and within 2 hours I had full blown chills, fever, ache, burning eyes and throat, and crazy nausea. Really not fun! The good news in… Read More Sweet Little Gidgey
I’m having fun playing with Picnik, again. I blame it on reading the new Scrapbooks, Etc. from cover to cover tonight. I love my mini muffin pan. I was inspired by the candy shop at Disney World. Triple threat chocolate!
I love this photographer’s work. And this photo is particularly stunning. I would put a large poster of it above my fireplace. Imagine all the people who lived here – and where did they go? Did they die off? Run away to the big city? Lose their home? Empty abandoned houses are plenty in south… Read More Reblog: Eclectic Cottage, Ellabell
Mom and I are having fun redecorating the SoGa house. Not a newbie to unusual design elements – this section of the wall used to be matte black – we first painted the wall turquoise, and because it was just too bright, she took acrylic brown and two plastic shopping bags and dabbed a rust… Read More Work in progress: verdigris and bronze stencil
Sharing a sweet and sour lunch with my coworker at Tuptim Thai in Brunswick. This place is a keeper.
