Inspired morning caffeine

I love watching the cooking and travel shows on RFDTV and SC ETV. Real people. Real TV.

I find inspiration to enjoy the region I live in, and celebrate the simple things in life: friends and family, local produce and agricultural pursuits, growing a useful garden and learning about sustainable living.

It’s fascinating to see how people in our state and country live their lives, either from an interview about a peach farm in California to a chef exploring asian cuisine in Massachusetts to learning how to garden in the Upstate and Appalachians.

Plus, it just gives me a peaceful, whole feeling.

Today, I am headed to the store to pick out curtain rods for the dining room. I am also continuing to unpack boxes and organize our new home. I promise photos but here’s one of us enjoying our favorite weekend activity: morning coffee time. Yesterday’s was a double dose of pumpkin spice coffee and creamer. Today’s mocha coffee and Italian sweet cream creamer.
