I found this in the Dec. 21 issue of The Baxley News-Banner. I’m so glad that Santa’s cleared for landing at all of our state’s homes for all the good little boys and girls! The excitement in our home is supercharged! May your days be Merry and Bright!
How often do you look up when you’re looking for a new perspective? I know I look down a lot more than up, and it’s usually because I trip over my own feet and frequently wear high heels. Not the best combination. This summer I visited St. Simons Island for a writing conference, and during a… Read More Looking up
I spent All Hallow’s Eve in downtown Savannah for both work and fun. After a board meeting and dinner at Vic’s on the River on Bay Street, with a beautiful balcony view overlooking the Savannah River, we braved a Hearse Tour around the city to look for some haints. It’s been a while since I was surrounded by so many creative and passionate people –… Read More Scribbler’s Writer’s Retreat weekend

Here’s a video of our trip. (I’m not a fan of peacocks. In fact, they freak me out. I think it’s… Read More Peacocks are a bit too impressive for me
Some days just feel like a thunderstorm. Loud, pounding thunder. Quick jabs of lightning that explode in front of your eyes, temporarily blinding you, leaving your hair standing on end. That was my day. Just full of loud noises and bright flashes of need. Some days – the dry days – I would kill for a… Read More Rainy day with a rainbow at the end
